The Builder -Paul Cramer
Born: Chicago, IL
Paul is the type of guy that had to walk a mile uphill both ways to get to the bus stop (No seriously, he did). He is a perfectionist and takes great pride in his work. Plus, his 20+ years experience gives him the knowledge to be able do it. Paul is really into Hockey and music. Beware of his three stooges humor.

The Hawk -Nicholas Meredith
Born: Chicago, IL
Nick has been in the remodeling business since before a tool belt fit around his waist (true story). He left the industry to venture into the promotional/ marketing/ designing world but has returned to his passion with all that he has learned. Nick is a huge supporter of the Arts and he loves to cook. Also, he is skilled in making wood puns!

Like many others in our industry we believe that mass production is losing its market appeal and that there is a growing movement towards owning hand crafted items. At Builder and Hawk we love to design and create conversation starters, items that will hold memories, a unique piece, and something that extends beyond an assembly line. Each handmade object we create has a story (mostly about how many splinters it gave us) and a history. We mostly use raw wood from a mill but our favorite is to use reclaimed wood as much as we can. Reclaimed wood has that history and we like giving it a new beginning. Thanks for your interest!
